Clammers, North Lagoon, This Evening

  1. I've got to ask, are they standing on mud flats? Or should we be notifying the Vatican?

    1. The Vatican might be able to make something of this in any case, Rob, but they are simply standing in very shallow water. There's a huge stretch of the lagoon just south of the island of San Francesco del deserto (the island with the cypress trees in the top image) that's especially shallow and that's where the clammers are.
